About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead data center operational activities supporting software development, testing, ERP systems, performance engineering labs, and critical business applications
- Coordinate maintenance activities, infrastructure upgrades, and incident response efforts
- Implement server, storage, networking, and data center infrastructure solutions
- Perform equipment racking and stacking, cable management, hardware installation, operating system deployment, firmware upgrades, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle management
- Determine infrastructure capacity, operational requirements, and system health through monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams
- Identify risks, recommend improvements, and support capacity planning and business continuity
- Maintain physical and virtual infrastructure and respond to incidents and service requests
- Perform hardware replacements and coordinate vendor support activities
- Document procedures and ensure high availability for development, testing, quality assurance, and production-related environments
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 5 years of IT Experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of IT Experience
- 2 years of data center experience
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
- IT Certifications/Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA are additional qualifications that could help
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
- Must provide education and work history via resume or application fields
