About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with surgeons and operating room teams
  • Drive adoption of Restrata®, the flagship synthetic, resorbable biomaterial, and related product lines
  • Provide case coverage, compliant product demonstrations and education, clinical support, procedural guidance, and hands-on intraoperative support during surgical procedures
  • Manage and grow sales of assigned products within a defined geographic territory
  • Meet or exceed revenue and growth objectives
  • Develop and execute territory business plans, including clinical education, customer engagement, and account prioritization strategies
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and inventory management
  • Build and sustain relationships with surgeons, clinicians, and decision-makers across hospital departments and sites of care
  • Travel up to 90% within the sales territory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and 5+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and 9+ years’ experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Use of a personal vehicle for company business
  • Successful completion of a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review
  • Maintain ongoing eligibility under Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
  • May be required to possess certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications to enter healthcare or third-party facilities
  • 3+ years of medical device sales experience calling on physicians and/or surgeons in hospital systems with direct experience supporting surgical cases in the operating room
  • Ability to manage time and priorities independently while adapting quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective people management, conflict resolution, and project coordination under pressure
  • Proven analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Track record of building and maintaining productive relationships with physicians and surgical staff in a sales or clinical setting
  • Effective negotiation, selling, and presentation skills
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Concur
