About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain partnerships with surgeons and operating room teams
- Drive adoption of Restrata®, a synthetic, resorbable biomaterial, and related product lines
- Provide case coverage, compliant product demonstrations, education, clinical support, procedural guidance, and hands-on intraoperative support
- Manage and grow sales of assigned products within a defined geographic territory
- Meet or exceed revenue and growth objectives
- Develop and execute territory business plans
- Lead clinical education, customer engagement, and account prioritization strategies
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and inventory management
- Build relationships with surgeons, clinicians, and decision-makers across hospital departments and sites of care
- Travel up to 90% within the sales territory
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and 5+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales
- OR High School Diploma/GED and 9+ years’ experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility
- Must comply with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
- May be required to possess licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications required by healthcare or third-party facilities
- 3+ years of medical device sales experience calling on physicians and/or surgeons in hospital systems with direct experience supporting surgical cases in the operating room
- Ability to manage time and priorities independently while adapting quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including people management, conflict resolution, and project coordination under pressure
- Analytical and organizational capabilities
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with physicians and surgical staff in a sales or clinical setting
- Negotiation, selling, and presentation skills
- Working proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Concur
