About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support
- Design and optimize inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, production integration, and quality management processes
- Recommend industry best practices to improve warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Design and support centralized EWM queue management
- Support warehouse mobility solutions, including RF devices, and provide issue support to front-end users
- Facilitate business workshops, requirements analysis, solution validation, and stakeholder discussions
- Participate in unit testing, SIT, and UAT, including defect management and business sign-off
- Execute master data migration, stock uploads, cutover planning, validation, and production deployment
- Support SAP EWM AMS engagements through incident reduction, process optimization, and automation initiatives
- Analyze recurring production issues and implement preventive solutions to improve system stability
- Deliver functional enhancements and knowledge assets to improve operational efficiency and user experience
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support and coordinate transition to AMS teams
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technical teams to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Engineering in any other stream
- Minimum 15+ years of SAP experience
- At least 4–5 years of direct experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM or decentralized E-WM
- Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP EWM implementation, rollout, or enhancement project
- Experience with handling unit management, batch management, serial number management, packing processes, and work centre configuration
- Strong experience configuring inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse management processes
- Experience with warehouse process types, warehouse order creation, put away and removal strategies, replenishment, and physical inventory
- Strong analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- SAP ABAP programming skills highly desired
- S4 – e-WM certification is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel 10–20%
