About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the VP of Global Logistics and Distribution
- Lead logistics professionals responsible for Distribution Center Operations, International and Domestic Transportation, Customs Trade Operations, and Intercompany Order Management across the Americas region
- Develop and execute regional logistics strategies, operating plans, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive operational excellence across distribution center, transportation, trade, and intercompany operations through performance management, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement
- Optimize logistics networks, capabilities, and end-to-end processes with global Centers of Excellence, Procurement, and cross-functional business partners
- Partner with Commercial, Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Operations, Finance, Quality, and other stakeholders
- Lead and develop high-performing teams and external logistics partners
- Manage logistics spend, supplier performance, and productivity initiatives
- Resolve complex operational and supply chain challenges while ensuring uninterrupted product flow and customer service excellence
- Cover 14 distribution centers and approximately USD $4 billion in annual sales across the Americas region
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Twelve (12) years of combined experience in supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, and/or import/export
- Experience with SAP, S4/Hana, ERP Systems and/or supply chain forecasting tools
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or Engineering (additional qualification)
- Experience leading teams, projects, or operational initiatives (additional qualification)
- Experience influencing and collaborating across functions to achieve business objectives (additional qualification)
- Experience communicating with stakeholders through verbal discussions, presentations, and written communications (additional qualification)
- Experience analyzing and resolving complex operational, supply chain, logistics, or inventory-related challenges (additional qualification)
- May include up to 25% domestic/international travel
