About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Increase business performance through analysis of R&D investments, portfolio decisions, and resource allocation opportunities
- Improve return on R&D investment by evaluating project execution against strategic plans
- Enhance leadership decision-making through forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Support strategic decision-making by creating analysis solutions for portfolio evaluations
- Develop key performance indicators and collaborate on solutions that improve organizational visibility and accountability
- Provide analysis and reports in support of the R&D organization and business needs
- Collaborate across the business to create analysis and reports
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
- Travel up to 10% domestically or internationally may be required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university AND ten (10) years numeric-based experience in finance, market, economics, and/or data analysis; OR high school/GED AND fourteen (14) years numeric-based experience in finance, market, economics, and/or data analysis
- Experience with finance, market, economics, or investment analysis
- Knowledge and experience in current finance practices and policies
- Experience providing data analysis in support of business decisions
- Experience within MedTech, healthcare, life science, or regulated industries
- Professional demeanor, solid business acumen, and client service attitude
- Basic understanding of SAP, Oracle, or other related systems
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
- Experience leveraging AI to assist in numeric-based analysis and workflows
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
