About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development of world-class software for the healthcare industry
- Implement and incorporate good security practices in software development
- Determine optimal solutions for given problems
- Support and collaborate with other engineers and global teams in solving problems
- Create well-tested, high-quality software following a Test-Driven Development model
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
- Travel up to 15% domestically as needed
- Attend required on-site onboarding at a designated company location during the initial days of employment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and six (6) years of experience in software development, OR High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of experience in software development
- 4+ years of experience with Java, SpringBoot and SpringCloud
- 2+ years of experience with Docker and Linux
- 2+ years of experience with at least one scripting language, such as Python, Ruby, or Bash
- 1+ years of experience with a deployment tool such as Terraform and/or Ansible
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
- AWS Cloud Certification, Kubernetes, Consul, Prometheus, Rancher, cloud experience, and open-source contributions are additional qualifications that could help succeed
