About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the internal 3D treatment planning platform
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix production issues
- Find root causes and prevent recurring issues
- Develop improvements and workflow automation in C#/.NET
- Work with 3D data, including meshes, coordinate systems, and transformations, to improve treatment planning features
- Collaborate with end users, product, quality, and DevOps teams to prioritize fixes and improvements
- Improve monitoring, logging, and documentation
- Support exceptional patient care through optimized treatment-planning workflows
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience with advanced C#/.NET skills
- Hands-on work with 3D fundamentals: vectors, matrices, transformations, coordinate systems, and 3D meshes, or experience building or supporting software in the dental/CAD/medical imaging space
- Experience troubleshooting production systems
- SQL / relational databases
- Conversational English B2 Plus
- WPF, Azure, Web APIs preferred
- Mesh processing libraries or geometry algorithms preferred
- DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring tools preferred
- Experience in regulated environments such as medical devices, ISO 13485, or FDA preferred
- Experience using AI tools in development preferred
- Knowledge of dental workflows preferred
- Experience troubleshooting/monitoring applications and databases deployed in a cloud environment, including Azure/Kubernetes, preferred
- Must travel to the Solventum site at least 3 days per week
- Relocation assistance is not authorized
