About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess specifications and requirements for consistency and accuracy
- Create and maintain test suites covering component logic paths and calculations
- Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, identify abnormalities, and report defects
- Design, develop, and maintain tools for test generation, execution, comparison, and analysis
- Deliver accurate test suites to clients on time
- Investigate and address client concerns, provide tests, and collaborate across roles and directly with clients
- Participate in Agile team planning sessions, identify dependency chains and task breakdowns, provide estimates, and outline test approaches
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and six (6) years of experience in software development; OR High School Diploma/GED or higher and ten (10) years of experience in software development
- Three (3) years of experience creating software quality and/or data processing tests
- Experience testing applications implemented using JAVA, SQL, and JSON technologies
- Experience working with an Agile team using SCRUM Framework
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
- Experience analyzing and working with large sets of data is beneficial
- Three (3) years plus experience testing applications or Java jars/libraries with no user interface using JSON and CSV datasets is beneficial
- Two (2) years of experience with healthcare-related data and HIPAA requirements is desired
- Proficiency using automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and PyTest is beneficial
- Experience writing test scripts using Java, Python, and SQL is desired
- Ability to create test preparation documents and communicate effectively in a team environment
