About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate enterprise vulnerability management platforms
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and scalable scanning coverage across on-premises and cloud environments
- Ensure asset coverage, scanning integrity, and risk-based vulnerability prioritization
- Analyze findings, validate exploitability, and provide remediation guidance to engineering teams
- Improve vulnerability SLAs, metrics, and reporting
- Partner with application, platform, and cloud teams to validate security and compliance requirements
- Design and implement automation and integrations for vulnerability intake, tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational processes
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Produce executive-level reporting and metrics on risk posture, trends, and remediation progress
- Support audit and compliance requirements across regulated environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 3–6 years of vulnerability management experience
- Experience administering vulnerability management platforms such as Qualys, Tenable, or similar
- Experience working across multiple teams and disciplines
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Familiarity with software security requirements in industry-standard compliance programs such as NIST, HITRUST, SOC2, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently or collaborate with application teams
- Hybrid – India Only
- May include up to 10% travel
