About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and enhance SAP ABAP solutions
- Perform technical analysis and prepare specifications, translating functional requirements into robust solutions
- Investigate and resolve critical production incidents, including the analysis of dumps, logs, and jobs
- Develop enhancements, fixes, and new functionalities in accordance with SAP best practices
- Perform advanced debugging and technical impact analysis
- Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems
- Provide support to functional consultants in defining technical solutions
- Participate in testing, user acceptance testing, transports, and deployments
- Prepare effort estimates and maintain technical documentation
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced professionals
- Participate in meetings with internal teams and clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed or ongoing higher education in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Solid experience with SAP ABAP in production and highly complex environments
- Experience in application support, enhancements, and projects
- Ability to work independently on medium- and high-complexity demands
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving critical issues
- Strong communication and organizational skills, analytical ability, and a focus on quality and deadlines
- Experience with SAP Utilities / CCS (IS-U) is a plus
- Experience working in highly governed environments is a plus
- Certifications or experience supporting the technical development of the team are a plus
- Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
