About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support compliant and efficient digital reporting across Sony Europe’s branches
- Handle digital reporting, e-invoicing and e-reporting activities and implementations across multiple European countries
- Monitor regulatory developments and reporting requirements for local and EU legislation
- Support country implementations through requirements analysis, data mapping, testing and UAT
- Validate, reconcile and analyse reporting data
- Coordinate with Finance, Tax, IS teams and external service providers
- Ensure timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, process issues and reporting exceptions
- Contribute to process improvement, automation and standardisation initiatives
- Maintain reporting documentation, controls and training materials
- Support audit and compliance activities
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners across the region
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in transactional finance, accounting, VAT, indirect tax or a related finance function
- Strong experience with reconciliations, data validation and financial reporting processes
- Advanced Excel skills, including large datasets, pivot tables and reporting analysis
- Practical SAP experience and understanding of finance data structures, tax codes and data mapping
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across countries and functions
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
- Legal right to work in the country
- Experience in a multinational or international business environment is preferred
- Experience with digital reporting, e-invoicing, e-reporting, SAF-T, VAT or tax technology solutions
- Knowledge of Power BI, Excel macros, RPA or automation tools
- Experience supporting system implementations, testing and process improvement initiatives
- Understanding of Peppol, XML reporting schemas or related digital reporting frameworks
