About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Propose HR policies aligned with legal requirements and best practice
  • Advise HR Europe functions on implementing policies and frameworks
  • Identify HR compliance risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Conduct prompt, fair, and well-documented investigations into alleged compliance violations
  • Coordinate compliance matters with internal and external counsel and the Data Privacy Officer
  • Handle works councils, unions, and employee representative bodies
  • Develop and deliver training on conflict resolution, workplace ethics, and legal compliance
  • Analyse ER trends, track compliance metrics, and maintain accurate records
  • Support employees and managers and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Support adoption and localisation of corporate HR policies
  • Plan and support organisational changes and restructuring
  • Participate in audits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years’ experience in an Employee Relations Specialist role
  • Experience working in large international companies
  • Excellent knowledge of French employment law, regulations, and HR best practice
  • Experience implementing and carrying out company policies and procedures
  • Ability to conduct objective, thorough, and confidential workplace investigations
  • Change management and negotiation skills
  • Experience supporting organisational change and leading ER initiatives
  • Ability to build trust and communicate at all levels
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Italian and/or Spanish is an advantage
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft tools
