About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage Peanuts licensees in sleepwear and health and beauty aids categories
  • Develop and execute category growth plans
  • Identify, pitch, evaluate, and secure new licensees against revenue targets and annual growth objectives
  • Manage financial performance, contracts, category analysis, product development, and retail placement
  • Oversee negotiations for new deals, amendments, and renewals
  • Maintain market knowledge of category trends, competitors, consumers, and retail landscape
  • Partner with the VP, Global Softlines to implement category strategies across retail and e-commerce
  • Monitor licensee performance against contractual obligations, sales targets, and quality standards
  • Identify risks and opportunities, drive corrective actions, and communicate results and recommendations to leadership
  • Travel domestically as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in the licensing industry, including ownership of sales and/or brand management responsibilities and accountability for business results
  • Demonstrated success pitching properties, securing new business, negotiating complex deal points, and independently managing licensee relationships
  • Experience in character or entertainment licensing preferred
  • Strong relationships and industry contacts across softlines categories; established retail relationships are a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong initiative, creativity, and work ethic
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the company
  • Strong organizational skills and strategic thinking
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative organization
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving ability, decisiveness, and good judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct are material requirements
