Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and grow the Finance Consulting practice, setting strategic direction and ensuring delivery of high-quality services to NHS clients
  • Develop new business opportunities through client engagement, networking, proposal development, and presentations to prospective customers
  • Partner with NHS organisations to identify challenges, improve financial performance, and deliver sustainable finance transformation programmes
  • Provide expert advice on finance best practice, transformation methodologies, regulatory requirements, and emerging industry trends

  • Oversee the financial, commercial, and operational performance of the practice, ensuring projects are delivered successfully, on time, and within budget

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience delivering finance transformation and consulting services, ideally within the NHS, healthcare, or wider public sector
  • Proven track record of leading complex consulting engagements, developing high-performing teams, and delivering measurable client outcomes
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience driving business development activities, building client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into practical recommendations
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and engage senior leaders across client organisations
  • Strategic, adaptable, and collaborative leadership style
  • Security Clearance Level: BPSS
