About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, particularly the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting of the Ministry of Finance (SPA/MF)
- Draft legal opinions, responses to official requests, institutional presentations, and internal policies
- Conduct legal research in regulatory, corporate, contractual, tax, administrative, and employment law
- Support the management of regulatory documents and the legal department’s internal controls
- Assist with managing legal contracts and vendors
- Monitor filings with notary offices and commercial registries, as well as matters handled with paralegal service providers
- Provide consultative legal support to the company’s internal departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Knowledge of civil, contract, corporate, regulatory, administrative, employment, and tax law
- Advanced English proficiency for reading and conversation
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Interest in the regulated betting market and the digital business environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and collaborative mindset
- Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn continuously
- Interest in understanding the business beyond the legal perspective
