About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage assigned marketing campaigns, including strategy execution, day-to-day management, advertising displays and channels, budget allocation guidelines, continuity, and completion
  • Support Marketing team initiatives and strategies
  • Develop and pitch ideas for growth and retention campaigns based on business goals and past campaign performance
  • Develop and coordinate content to improve brand awareness and reputation
  • Manage digital content, including website pages, email content, blogs, and blog revisions
  • Optimize website pages for conversion, drive website traffic, and support customer communications
  • Coordinate with off-site graphic designers to create collateral for email, social media, and digital advertising
  • Assess and adjust paid advertising campaigns to optimize performance
  • Review, verify, and submit invoices and updates to maintain payment and workflow continuity
  • Create and verify marketing KPI reports and communications
  • Manage and prioritize marketing requests
  • Communicate campaign status updates
  • Follow bank information security, confidentiality, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in training sessions and policy updates
  • Assist management with scheduling and other issues
  • Provide positive, effective service to internal and external customers
  • Accept additional work and assist managers or team members as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Marketing, communications, social media, digital advertising, content, or related experience sufficient for the applicable Marketing Strategist level
  • Marketing Strategist 1: 1–2 years’ experience relevant to the position
  • Marketing Strategist 2: At least three years of marketing, communications, digital advertising, social media, content development, or related experience
  • Marketing Strategist 3: At least five years of marketing, communications, digital advertising, social media, content development, or related experience
  • Strong written communication, organization, accuracy, and customer service skills
  • Ability to operate office equipment, telephones, and computers
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, in person, in writing, and on the computer
  • Ability to read, write, count, and perform basic math functions
  • Ability to use manual dexterity and fine manipulation for operating a keyboard and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, grasp, reach, and pull
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time; standing and walking periodically
  • Ability to think, remember, learn new information, and apply cognitive data to job functions
  • Ability to assess and concentrate on mental and physical job tasks to completion
  • Ability to work with others to share information and solve problems
  • Preferred: Financial services marketing experience
  • Preferred: Understanding of key marketing metrics and terminology
  • Preferred: Project management and proven problem-solving skills
