Strategically drive business to achieve store sales and profitability goals
Train and develop the store team
Achieve the highest level of operational excellence
Create a memorable in-store environment and deliver excellent customer service
Establish a customer-service-focused environment through customer service, sales generation, and customer outreach best practices
Drive customer service excellence across store appearance, merchandise displays, product placement, store layout, and selling procedures
Achieve and exceed store goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Recruit, hire, retain, direct, and supervise management and associate teams
Recognize exceptional performance and provide ongoing constructive feedback and coaching
Develop internal talent and build a leadership candidate bench
Ensure compliance with merchandising, visual presentation, safety, functionality, security, and applicable regulations
Develop and maintain clienteling processes and standards
Communicate company history, brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to sales teams and customers
Maintain organized stockroom, storage, and shipping/receiving areas
Manage operational processes related to people policies, merchandise, security, loss prevention, and facility maintenance
Partner with corporate retail teams to build community relationships and events
Complete personnel paperwork, reports, sales receipt monitoring, and cash monitoring
Monitor inventory and coordinate product replenishment
Manage inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
Perform other duties necessary to support store operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

College degree in Business or related field preferred
5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory/management position in a customer service-focused retail apparel environment
Strong computer skills; proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
Experience with POS systems, including inventory management functions
Knowledge of retail merchandising concepts and retail visual concepts
Proven ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to business needs to drive sales results
Ability to interpret policies and procedures to resolve customer and employee issues
Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to lift and/or move approximately 50 pounds frequently
Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
Occasional ladder climbing
Ability to stand routinely for up to 8 hours per shift
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
