About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist Consumer Group Manager with comprehensive ongoing monitoring of Consumer and Residential Real Estate loan portfolios
- Review reports, attend meetings, and communicate with key stakeholders
- Participate in Credit Process, Target, and Ongoing Monitoring Reviews
- Lead less complex Reviews when requested
- Identify risks, including exceptions, overrides, and changes to strategy
- Develop ongoing monitoring plans to assess risks
- Validate borrower creditworthiness, underwriting quality, and risk-rating validity
- Validate loan and collateral documentation
- Assist with periodic Risk Assessments and risk-based ranking of assigned Universe units
- Provide feedback to underwriters, credit administrators, and management
- Manage and report resolution of review follow-up items
- Attend loan committee and other relevant meetings
- Support continuous improvement and Credit Risk Review function advancement
- Assist with special projects as needed

What you’ll need- Ability to analyze findings, draw conclusions and provide recommendations
- Ability to validate credit/financial information and automated scoring/underwriting system results
- Ability to validate loan and collateral documentation for adequacy, adherence to loan policy and enforceability
- Ability to communicate with underwriters, credit administrators and management
- Ability to own and manage review follow-up items and report resolutions
- Subject matter expertise in Consumer/Residential Real Estate portfolios to be developed
- Skills, experience and education considered in determining offers
