About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and qualify the most promising startups among 200–300 sourced opportunities each month
  • Develop and manage a network of qualified sources, including VCs, incubators, and entrepreneurs
  • Attend ecosystem events and maintain active sector monitoring
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of the market, team, product, financials, and legal aspects
  • Independently conduct calls with entrepreneurs and structure discussions
  • Prepare detailed investment memos and strategic recommendations
  • Present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee
  • Stand behind your convictions and challenge the investment team’s projects
  • Participate in investment decisions involving tickets of €500K to €5M, from pre-seed to Series B
  • Support startups throughout the fundraising process
  • Coordinate with the marketing, legal, and investor relations teams to optimize fundraising campaigns
  • Maintain relationships with a portfolio of more than 140 funded companies
  • Optimize investment processes through artificial intelligence
  • Contribute to the development of automated analysis and scoring tools
  • Experiment with new technological approaches to improve selectivity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Business school, engineering school, or university degree
  • Genuine interest in the startup ecosystem and innovation
  • Ability to quickly analyze investment opportunities and synthesize information
  • Ability to lead a startup’s investment process end to end, from sourcing through due diligence to closing
  • Previous experience in VC or at a startup is a plus
  • Knowledge of technology sectors is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for innovation
  • Strong desire to learn
