Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise public and private sector clients on complex workplace matters
  • Handle safety incidents, investigations, prosecutions, inquests and strategic workplace risk management
  • Lead significant litigation and regulatory matters
  • Engage directly with clients and work with recognised specialists across Australia
  • Deliver practical and commercially focused solutions across government, mining, transport, education, healthcare, insurance and financial services
  • Mentor junior lawyers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years’ experience as a lawyer
  • Strong background in employment, workplace relations and/or work health and safety law
  • Ability to independently manage complex matters, including litigation, investigations, prosecutions and regulatory engagements
  • Collaborative leadership approach
  • Enjoys mentoring junior lawyers
  • Ability to build client relationships and take ownership of outcomes
  • Willingness to work on high-quality matters within a national practice
  • Successful applicants subject to pre-employment and, in some circumstances, ongoing criminal history checks
