About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in sprint planning, assign story points, and commit to sprint user stories
Implement code using AWS native services and serverless technologies
Design, develop, test, and deploy Angular and TypeScript web applications
Develop Java-based microservices
Maintain code quality and application responsiveness
Participate in code reviews and suggest tools, technologies, and best practices
Optimize application performance and scalability
Stay current with full-stack development trends and technologies
Engage with architects and product teams to understand functional challenges and prototype innovative solutions
Design and develop solutions following established frameworks, application development standards, and quality processes
Translate requirements into technical specifications and diagrams
Assist with operational and system-level documentation
Enhance software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments
Collaborate with software developers, project managers, UX designers, system administrators, and analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in Java
Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and React
Experience with Node.js
Experience with JavaScript and PHP
Database management with DynamoDB and Aurora DB
API development and integration
DevOps and deployment
Testing and debugging
Security and data protection
Performance optimization
Git version control
Agile and Scrum methodologies
Jira and Confluence
Understanding of front-end-related aspects of relational databases
Familiarity with ORM and SQL technologies within Drupal development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiasm for learning new front-end development tools, languages, design philosophies, and workflows applicable to Drupal development
5+ years of application development
3 to 5 years of experience developing code using AWS serverless architecture, native services, and containers
3 to 5 years of experience supporting applications on AWS
Experience working on an Agile project
Experience working on large projects and interacting with several teams within the project
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Any relevant professional certifications are preferred
Experience working with F5 and NGINX is nice to have
Experience with Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools
Familiarity with integrating Generative AI/LLM capabilities into web applications, including AI-powered search, conversational interfaces, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
