About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and infrastructure resources across multiple environments
  • Monitor system health, availability, and performance and assist with troubleshooting infrastructure issues
  • Support cloud deployments, environment builds, and infrastructure integrations
  • Assist with Kubernetes-based platform administration and containerized environments
  • Participate in patching, updates, and configuration management
  • Support infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives
  • Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and operational support
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and configuration records
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Application Development, and Operations teams
  • Apply cloud engineering best practices to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or related technical roles
  • Experience supporting cloud-based and enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
  • Knowledge of infrastructure architecture, networking, storage, and compute concepts
  • Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and cloud-related issues
  • Familiarity with automation, scripting, or Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
  • Experience working within Agile teams and operational support environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Preferred: Experience supporting CMS, Federal Government, or healthcare systems
  • Preferred: Experience with AWS cloud services
  • Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker
  • Preferred: Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Preferred: Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
  • Preferred: Familiarity with cloud security and identity management concepts
