About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support automation and optimization of software deployment and operational processes
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based environments
- Assist with development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Support build, deployment, and infrastructure automation activities
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Groovy, Bash, Python, or similar technologies
- Assist in implementing configuration management solutions using Red Hat Ansible
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to support application delivery
- Monitor system performance and help resolve deployment and production issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Learn and apply DevOps best practices, tools, and automation techniques
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, Software Development, or related technical roles
- Experience supporting Linux environments
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD concepts
- Experience with Red Hat Ansible or configuration management tools
- Experience with Groovy scripting or similar scripting languages
- Basic understanding of build automation, deployment processes, and source control systems
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues in development or production environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
