About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with scrum team members under the DevOps Manager to develop and implement DevOps culture across the project team
  • Manage RedHat Enterprise Linux operating-system patching across the ecosystem using AWS automation tools
  • Install, configure, and maintain tools for source control, continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, database management, repository management, provisioning, release management, logging, building, testing, containerization, collaboration, and security
  • Lead system administrators and serve as a point of escalation
  • Deploy RedHat operating-system patches using AWS System Manager Automation documents
  • Implement CI/CD tools
  • Work with source-control, continuous-integration, deployment, monitoring, repository-management, provisioning, logging, build, testing, collaboration, and security tools
  • Support applications on AWS cloud

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7 to 10 years of experience as a system administrator
  • 5 to 7 years of experience with DevOps tools
  • 5 to 7 years of experience supporting applications on AWS
  • Experience working on an Agile Project
  • Experience working in large projects interacting with several teams
  • Experience with several containerization tools
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
  • Strong judgment, leadership, communication, diplomacy, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to independently identify and solve technical problems
  • Strong functional, conceptual, and technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of customer requirements and practical solution delivery
  • Proficiency with RedHat Operating System, AWS, and JBOSS
  • Experience with AWS services including Elastic Load Balancers, S3, Elastic File Share, EC2, and VPC
  • Bachelor's degree
  • AWS and DevOps certifications preferred
