About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support operability of the data services hub system during night shifts as needed
  • Monitor production and pre-production systems using New Relic, Splunk, and other monitoring tools
  • Perform change request and remedy ticket analysis
  • Escalate issues and risks in a timely manner
  • Monitor production and IMP regions
  • Identify root causes of production issues
  • Work with TDS, XOC, and operations teams to resolve production issues
  • Produce bi-hourly and daily reports
  • Identify, understand, analyze, and triage ongoing production issues
  • Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis
  • Work with integrated partners and operations teams to manage and resolve issues
  • Support testing and analysis activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Support night shift periodically as project needs
  • Flexible for off-business-hour schedules and 24/7 on-call support during open enrollment as needed
  • Determine system objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements
  • Understanding of system engineering concepts
  • Strong understanding of Java or relevant core technologies
  • Ability to adapt under high pressure and short deadlines
  • Initial triage, categorization, and prioritization of events
  • Direct troubleshooting activities and technical escalations
  • Problem management and change control support
  • Ensure integrity and security of healthcare products and data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
  • Bachelor’s in a relevant technical field
  • 4 to 6+ years related experience
  • Experience with Splunk and New Relic is a plus
  • Healthcare background is preferred
