About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure a systems infrastructure aligned with DevOps culture.
- Optimize environment provisioning processes.
- Automate continuous integration processes.
- Monitor the corporate infrastructure and data center, focusing on connectivity, availability, performance, quality, and security.
- Monitor and manage alerts, thresholds, triggers, pipelines, automations, and decision-making escalation procedures.
- Independently manage infrastructure, processes, and business operations.
- Control and execute the lifecycle of events, incidents, requests, problems, and changes through standardized and automated processes.
- Handle and fulfill configuration, parameterization, customization, and routine automation requests.
- Work on restoring assets, applications, systems, and services.
- Automatically provision infrastructure and applications.
- Provide an immediate response to incidents and attacks.
- Prepare, analyze, control, and support QAS, UAT, development, and production environments.
- Operate the corporate and data center environments, including their physical and logical infrastructure and assets.
- Provide maintenance and support for the corporate and data center environments.
- Analyze requirements and integrate internally developed systems and supported legacy systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, or another field related to software development or software engineering.
- Certification not required.
- Preferred experience: 4 years in a technical IT role using agile methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps tools and culture, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment models.
- Experience creating and implementing information security policies.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in the languages and technologies used in the relevant environment.
- Knowledge of backup solutions, including installation and configuration.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, containers, and cloud computing, including installation, administration, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience operating, installing, and monitoring network and security devices.
- Knowledge of firewalls and perimeter security tools, including load balancers, IDS/IPS, CDNs, and next-generation firewalls.
