About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, optimize, and maintain core collaboration infrastructure
- Serve as subject matter expert for the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem and Google Workspace/App Solutions
- Architect scalable configurations across Atlassian Cloud and Google Workspace environments
- Lead complex migrations
- Build custom integrations between Atlassian tools, Google Apps, and third-party SaaS stacks
- Ensure robust security compliance across both platforms
- Manage large-scale Atlassian Cloud sites and Google Workspace/App environments
- Oversee user lifecycles, global permissions, and governance standards
- Build integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting languages
- Design custom solutions using Atlassian APIs and Google Apps Script
- Automate routine operational tasks
- Partner with product, R&D, and IT Operations teams
- Resolve performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues
- Deliver technical documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and multi-tasking abilities
- 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application engineering, systems administration, or platform development
- 6+ years of specialized experience with Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM) Cloud environments
- Experience configuring enterprise-scale projects, designing advanced custom workflow schemas, implementing granular permission schemes, and using automation engines
- 6+ years administering enterprise Google Workspace environments
- Experience configuring integration points with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience building custom extensions using Google Apps Script and Google Workspace APIs
- High proficiency in Google Apps Script, Groovy, Python, or Bash
- Hands-on experience developing against REST APIs, consuming endpoints, parsing structured data, and managing webhooks
- US Citizen and/or Current Green Card Holder
- Ability to pass a complete background check, including criminal history, education verification, professional certification verification, previous employment verification, and credit history
- Ability to undergo Public Trust background investigation and fingerprinting
- Preferred: Federal government experience
- Preferred: ITIL knowledge
- Preferred: Agile/DevOps familiarity
- Preferred: Python or PowerShell scripting skills
- Preferred: Cloud migrations or tenant-to-tenant consolidations for Atlassian or Google tools
- Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise automation platforms
- Preferred: Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Preferred certifications: Atlassian Certified Enterprise Jira Administrator or Atlassian Certified Cloud Organization Admin
- Preferred certification: Google Cloud Certified Professional
- Preferred certification: Google Workspace Administrator
