About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
Communicate system changes, enhancements, and options
Provide user support and guidance on application navigation and functionality
Design, develop, and enhance PowerApps Canvas App features using Dataverse
Serve as the sole technical lead for the application
Implement and maintain scheduled, triggered, Power Apps-integrated, and child Power Automate workflows
Use FetchXML for Dataverse queries and workarounds for Power Apps delegation limits
Maintain and extend Dataverse tables, relationships, schemas, formula columns, and optimized views
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, including DAX measures, calculated columns, Power Query transformations, and data visualizations
Troubleshoot application and workflow issues
Provide ad hoc reporting and respond to user inquiries
Monitor system communications and support automated notifications and system-generated messaging
Conduct QA testing in Development and Test environments
Deploy managed solutions to Test and Production environments
Manage and prioritize backlog items
Estimate level of effort for enhancements
Review priorities with stakeholders
Prepare and deliver monthly status reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–7 years of relevant experience
Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas Apps)
Strong experience with Power Automate
Strong experience with Dataverse
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently as a solo developer and technical lead
Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements (preferred)
Experience working in Agile environments (preferred)
Prior experience as a sole developer on a project (preferred)
Bachelor's degree required
Microsoft Power Platform / PowerApps certifications (preferred)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Must complete required background checks, including criminal history, education, employment, professional certifications, and credit history verification
