About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and own full-stack features across Speak for Business, including partner portals, admin dashboards, reporting, and B2B subscription workflows
Design and implement backend services, APIs, and data models for multi-tenant enterprise use cases
Lead cross-functional integrations across authentication, entitlements, billing, CRM, and analytics
Partner with product, design, sales, and customer success to define scope and deliver end-to-end outcomes
Set high standards for privacy, security, observability, data integrity, and safe rollouts
Contribute to an AI-native development workflow through plan and design reviews, verification loops, and safe AI-assisted shipping
Mentor engineers and raise the team’s standards for technical judgment and ownership

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience building production-scale web applications
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL databases; Postgres preferred
Full-stack capability across frontend and backend
Solid database fundamentals
Experience with or strong interest in B2B SaaS, enterprise product surfaces, or multi-tenant systems
Experience designing APIs and backend services
Ability to reason about system boundaries and relational data
Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly on a small team
Excellent cross-functional communication and collaborative working style
Excitement about AI-assisted development with thoughtful verification and high production-quality standards
Experience with multi-tenant B2B SaaS, SSO/SAML, billing, invoicing, or entitlements is a plus
Familiarity with admin dashboards, reporting, or analytics integrations is a plus
Experience with B2B account models, roles, or provisioning is a plus
CRM or marketing technology integrations experience is a plus
Experience building for both consumer and B2B surfaces is a plus
Ability to work from the San Francisco HQ at least 3 days a week
