About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide professional services and project implementation support to SPIN Global clients
- Ensure contract and task-order obligations are fulfilled
- Collaborate with clients to understand needs and support deliverable execution
- Maintain client satisfaction through consistent communication and problem-solving
- Contribute to emergency management planning teams developing all-hazards and incident-specific plans at national, regional, state, and local levels
- Conduct research and analysis for technical deliverables
- Assist with plan refinement, exercise development and implementation, and plan socialization
- Support preparation of briefings, reports, and policy-related documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or related field
- Professional experience in emergency management planning
- Demonstrated understanding of emergency management planning processes, including exercise programs and principles
- Successful completion of Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS) courses
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) designation preferred
- County-level or higher emergency management experience preferred
- Experience supporting large-scale multi stakeholder planning efforts preferred
