About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own all facets of purchasing, coastal production planning, finished goods management, and inventory control
- Perform supply chain planning including MRP, purchasing execution, production planning, and product allocation
- Manage raw material and finished goods inventory control, including inventory transfers and lot tracking
- Use MRP to execute purchasing that supports the production plan
- Execute transactions and manage the NetSuite inventory management system
- Manage finished goods inventory levels across multiple third-party sites based on sales forecasts and customer orders
- Communicate across Manufacturing, Customer Service, Accounting, and Sales
- Work with manufacturing and supplier partners to ensure timelines are met
- Identify and resolve shipment discrepancies with freight partners
- Achieve corporate and functional goals related to sales, margin, and customer service
- Improve procedures and policies that add value to the business
- Perform shipping logistics, inventory reconciliations, co-packer communication, data entry, and analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- Ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of the company’s products and business operations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a strong sense of urgency
- Comfort working in an entrepreneurial, evolving environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications
- Advanced Excel skills required
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Supply chain experience in a consumer food or beverage company preferred
- Ability to work from the Newton, MA office four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day per week

- Energetic and creative problem-solving ability
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, maintain strong attention to detail, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
