About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve or exceed annual revenue, margin, and market penetration targets
- Recruit, train, and retain elite independent distributors
- Foster a culture of accountability, ethics, and high performance
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with leading spine surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders, and healthcare executives
- Drive product adoption and clinical advocacy
- Analyze regional sales data and forecast trends
- Allocate resources to capitalize on emerging market opportunities
- Partner with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Education, and R&D on product launches, surgeon training programs, and clinical support in the OR
- Ensure sales, marketing, and promotional activities adhere to AdvaMed guidelines, FDA regulations, and corporate compliance policies
- Report to the Area Vice President of Sales
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 8–10 years of medical device sales experience
- At least 5 years specifically focused on spinal implants (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and biologic solutions) in a sales management or leadership capacity
- Demonstrated, verifiable history of consistently exceeding quota and building high-growth sales teams within the orthopedic/spine sector
- Established, active relationships with spine surgeons and hospital decision-makers within the assigned territory or nationally
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Ability to travel extensively, up to 50%, for key accounts, surgeries, national congresses, and team meetings
- Knowledge of AdvaMed guidelines, FDA regulations, and corporate compliance policies
