About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise on share and asset sales and purchases, management buy-outs and corporate restructures
  • Draft, review and negotiate shareholders' agreements, partnership agreements and other corporate documents
  • Advise clients on company law, governance and regulatory matters
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, terms and conditions, supply agreements and service agreements
  • Manage transactions and matters from instruction through to completion
  • Build and maintain client relationships with owner-managed businesses, SMEs and professional contacts
  • Support business development initiatives and regional networking activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider firm to provide joined-up client advice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 Years PQE
  • Solid experience of both corporate and commercial work
  • Confidence handling matters with an appropriate degree of supervision
  • Strong technical ability combined with pragmatic commercial judgement
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience developing client relationships and contributing to business development activities
  • Appropriate experience in corporate/M&A work, including multiple types of transactions and due diligence/review
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Commitment to exceptional client service
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
