Key responsibilities & impact

Provide an advisory role to clients
Provide functional and technical leadership within projects
Make recommendations for the development and implementation of complex projects requiring comprehensive analysis of the client's field
Review code and architecture for compliance with company development standards and industry best practices
Write, modify, review, optimize and debug computer code
Contribute to the development and improvement of work methods and procedures
Select libraries and development paradigms
Identify opportunities to reuse code within completed projects
Participate in testing and quality control activities according to the testing strategy
Participate in the service offer writing process
Evaluate and select technology options for projects
Evaluate efforts, solve problems and ensure solution quality
Coach and mentor less experienced employees and transfer knowledge
Act as a front-line consultant to clients
Improve the efficiency and quality of company development processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

8 to 10 years of experience in digital solutions development
Significant experience leading project teams
Strong command of front-end architecture with Angular
Openness to back-end technologies in Java
Ability to work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Understanding and knowledge of software architecture
Client-oriented approach
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience starting projects from scratch
Full software development lifecycle experience
Ability to adapt quickly to achieve set objectives in a timely manner
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Knowledge of unit testing
Good knowledge of AGILE principles and rituals
Bilingualism is essential; ability to collaborate with internal and external clients throughout North America in both French and English
