Support the stable and reliable operation of database environments based on Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL
Handle tasks within incident and change management
Install, configure, and administer database instances
Analyze performance issues and implement appropriate optimization measures
Ensure reliable backup and recovery processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong knowledge of administering Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL
Practical experience with Python and PowerShell
Ideally, experience automating IT operations processes with Ansible
Basic DevOps knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly for database-related deployments
Structured approach to analyzing incidents and performance issues and deriving appropriate measures
Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
Ideally, knowledge of Windows Server and Linux
Experience with Docker and monitoring tools, or initial knowledge of Python-based machine learning or AI, is an advantage
Good written and spoken German and English
Ability to document and communicate technical information clearly
