About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise customers and ensure the reliable operation of their SAP logistics solutions in SD, MM, and PP
Analyze incidents, evaluate developments, and derive appropriate measures
Analyze and optimize processes and solution approaches in the logistics environment
Take on challenging responsibilities in 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Assume functional module responsibility for complex SCM topics
Develop customer-specific solutions
Independently plan and manage SAP projects—from effort estimation and implementation through to workshops and training
Design and implement solution concepts through SAP customizing and customer-specific applications
Analyze functional and technical interdependencies and identify optimization opportunities
Support the sustainable development of the SAP application landscape
Create and maintain program, system, and user documentation
Ensure transparent knowledge transfer to customers and project stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in a relevant field or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in SAP consulting or application management
Experience handling complex support and customer requirements
Understanding of business value chains, particularly in discrete manufacturing
In-depth knowledge of logistics processes
Practical experience with SAP SD, MM, and PP, including corresponding customizing, is preferred
Ability to systematically analyze complex requirements and develop customer-focused solutions
Ability to organize tasks independently and communicate confidently with customers and project stakeholders
Project management experience and knowledge of additional SAP modules are advantageous
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
