About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build backend services in Python using FastAPI
Implement asynchronous job execution and status tracking with Redis, Celery, and Kafka
Integrate with internal and external LLM services
Store, version, and efficiently serve creative assets
Develop APIs for the Creative Dashboard and internal AI agents
Build and maintain external MCP servers exposing the platform to third-party AI agents and clients
Develop ETL pipelines and ensure data quality across ingestion, transformation, and storage
Ensure stability, observability, and cost-efficient inference

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years Python backend experience
Strong FastAPI experience
Solid PostgreSQL + S3 (or equivalents)
Experience with async task queues (Celery, Redis, Kafka)
Production experience integrating with microservices, including long-running jobs, retries, and failure handling
Solid hands-on experience with agentic AI, including building MCP servers, implementing agents, and working with various LLMs and other generative models
Genuine enthusiasm for agentic AI and keeping up with how the field evolves
Basic observability skills, including logging, monitoring, and alerting
Experience in cross-functional teams, including frontend and ML
Experience with AWS infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes
Familiarity with LangChain or agentic workflows is a plus
Marketing technology background is a plus
Experience with StarRocks or other OLAP databases, such as ClickHouse, is a plus
