About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build backend services in Python using FastAPI
- Implement asynchronous job execution and status tracking with Redis, Celery, and Kafka
- Integrate with internal and external LLM services
- Build and maintain external MCP servers exposing the platform to third-party AI agents and clients
- Develop ETL pipelines
- Ensure data quality across ingestion, transformation, and storage
- Ensure stability, observability, and cost-efficient inference
- Collaborate effectively across teams and functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years Python backend experience
- Strong FastAPI experience
- Solid PostgreSQL + S3 or equivalent experience
- Experience with async task queues such as Celery, Redis, and Kafka
- Production experience integrating with microservices, including long-running jobs, retries, and failure handling
- Solid hands-on experience with agentic AI, including building MCP servers, implementing agents, and working with various LLMs and generative models
- Genuine enthusiasm for agentic AI and keeping up with field developments
- Basic observability skills, including logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Experience in cross-functional teams with frontend and ML
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with LangChain or agentic workflows is a plus
- Marketing technology background is a plus
- Experience with StarRocks or other OLAP databases such as ClickHouse is a plus
