About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and deploy production-ready machine learning solutions, focusing on classical ML and statistical methods
- Own models end-to-end, from data pipelines and modelling through deployment and monitoring
- Improve the scalability and reliability of existing ML data pipelines
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to turn business problems into practical solutions
- Serve as the Data Science expert in a small Data Products team
- Identify product and business problems that ML and GenAI can solve and select suitable approaches
- Work with platform and LLM Ops teams when additional infrastructure support is needed
- Help shape the ML and AI roadmap and influence how ML capabilities evolve across products
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning solutions in production
- Strong knowledge of statistics and classical machine learning
- Experience owning ML projects end-to-end, including data preparation, modelling, deployment, and monitoring
- Strong hands-on Python skills, including scikit-learn or similar frameworks
- SQL skills
- Proactive approach and comfort working on not fully defined problems
- Clear communication and ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues
- English at C1 level or above
- German language skills are nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, or dbt is nice to have
- Experience working with LLMs or GenAI-based solutions is nice to have
