About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Teams and the Sport Clips brand by ensuring clients receive a Championship Haircut Experience
- Host engaging technical and operational training classes
- Improve Manager and Stylist productivity, product knowledge, and technical skills
- Facilitate hands-on training using real-world experiences
- Conduct routine store visits to coach, develop, and encourage team members
- Identify additional training needs and ensure consistency across the market
- Manage and audit team development logs
- Deliver feedback and operational support to leadership
- Work alongside franchisees and Managers to support store growth and success
- Monitor cosmetology industry trends and methods
- Continuously improve systems to increase efficiencies and align with current trends
- Prioritize responsibilities and manage challenging projects with limited timelines
- Share skills and knowledge with others
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be located in the Milwaukee, Kenosha, or Madison, Wisconsin area
- Current cosmetology license
- Minimum 3–5 years of previous haircutting experience
- Previous retail salon industry work experience
- Experience scheduling and facilitating technical (hair cutting) and operational training to various audiences
- Strong communication skills
- Solid training, presentation, analytical, and relationship-building skills
- Positive, supportive, and outgoing personality
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Ability to perform frequent moderate activity, including standing or sitting for extended periods, lifting 20–30 lbs, and bending
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with different groups
