About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop Teams and the Sport Clips brand by ensuring every client receives a Championship Haircut Experience
Host engaging technical and operational training classes
Improve Manager and Stylist productivity, product knowledge, and technical skills
Use hands-on, real-world training experiences to equip hair stylists
Conduct routine store visits to coach, develop, and encourage team members
Identify additional training needs and ensure consistency across the market
Manage and audit team development logs
Deliver feedback and operational support to leadership
Work alongside franchisees and Managers to support store growth and success
Monitor cosmetology industry trends and methods
Continuously improve systems to increase efficiencies and align with current trends
Prioritize responsibilities and complete challenging projects within limited timelines
Move between independent work and collaboration with different groups
Share skills and knowledge with others
Potentially audition for the Sport Clips national Artistic Team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be located in the Milwaukee, Kenosha or Madison, WI area
Current cosmetology license
Minimum 3-5 years of previous haircutting experience
Strong communication skills
Solid training, presentation, analytical, and relationship building skills
Positive, supportive, and outgoing personality
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Ability to travel up to 75%
Previous retail salon industry work experience
Comfortable and experienced with scheduling and facilitating technical (hair cutting) and operational training to various audiences in accordance with Sport Clips standards
Ability to perform frequent moderate activity, including standing or sitting for extended periods, lifting 20-30 lbs, and frequent bending
