About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle day-to-day corporate legal matters, including board and shareholder resolutions, minutes and corporate records
  • Prepare, based on company templates, and review shareholders' agreements and other corporate documentation
  • Review and negotiate lease agreements and contracts with suppliers, clients and investors/lenders
  • Handle corporate governance matters, KYC and legal due diligence requests and processes
  • Manage the signing and organization of legal documents, including electronic execution and record keeping
  • Coordinate with external legal advisors and manage their involvement in legal matters
  • Handle the company's litigation and dispute resolution matters, including litigation project management and coordination with external legal counsel for debt collection
  • Provide ad-hoc legal guidance to the Collections team
  • Provide day-to-day legal support to management and other teams within the company
  • Maintain and develop legal templates, processes and records as required
  • Act as the main point of contact for legal matters within the company and, where appropriate, with external parties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified lawyer with 4-7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience in corporate law, with experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts in English and Greek
  • Good knowledge of company law and corporate governance matters
  • Experience with litigation, dispute resolution and debt/collections recovery matters, including court proceedings and enforcement, is highly valued
  • Ability to work in cooperation with external legal counsel on litigation, dispute resolution and debt/collections recovery matters
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience with English law would be considered an advantage
  • Able to work independently and manage a varied workload without day-to-day supervision
  • Good judgment and attention to detail, with a practical approach to legal issues
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn the business and work closely with management and other teams
  • Comfortable dealing with external lawyers, clients, suppliers, investors and lenders
