About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product strategy and roadmap for the assigned scope within Spotify Connect
- Translate the broader Seamless direction into clear product priorities
- Work with research and data colleagues to understand cross-device behavior, identify friction, and define success measures
- Partner with engineering and design to deliver experiences for discovering devices, controlling playback, and moving between devices
- Balance everyday usability and reliability improvements with experiments that uncover new value
- Work across teams and partner-facing functions to manage dependencies and deliver a coherent end-to-end experience
- Explore opportunities from richer device understanding and emerging Spotify interactions while keeping privacy, permissions, and user control central
- Communicate product choices, progress, and results, and use learnings to improve the roadmap
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience owning and delivering high-quality consumer products from problem identification through launch and iteration
- Ability to translate user needs into clear priorities and sustain progress across multiple dependencies
- Comfort working with technically complex products and connecting system behavior to user experience
- Ability to communicate and debate strategic and technical complexity with senior stakeholders
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative evidence to make decisions
- Experience designing and learning from experiments
- Attention to product dependability and ease of use
- Clear communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
- Willingness to work hands-on
- Experience with connected devices, playback, platform products, or cross-device experiences, or interest in developing expertise in these areas
