About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage talent bookings across The Ringer’s podcast network, partnering with hosts and producers to identify and secure compelling guests
  • Build consistent workflows and communication with show teams, including regular check-ins, guest pitches, and planning around tentpole events and key coverage moments
  • Develop guest strategies aligning talent opportunities with each show’s audience, voice, and editorial priorities
  • Support hosts and producers in preparing for guest appearances and ensure teams have needed information and resources
  • Build trusted relationships with hosts across the network and act as a bridge between show teams and senior leadership
  • Develop and maintain external relationships with talent, managers, agents, publicists, PR firms, studios, and networks
  • Keep internal and external partners informed about new shows, launches, and opportunities across The Ringer network

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working with celebrities, creators, managers, publicists, or other partners across the entertainment industry
  • Demonstrated track record of booking high-profile guests and building trusted relationships with talent and their representatives
  • Persuasive and thoughtful communication skills
  • Ability to develop and pitch opportunities to internal and external partners
  • Experience using audience insights and performance data to inform talent and booking decisions
  • Experience booking talent for podcasts, digital content, television, film, or related entertainment formats
  • Strong understanding of pop culture and emerging talent, conversations, and cultural moments
  • Professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills
  • Comfort adapting to changing talent needs
  • Willingness to travel when the role requires it
