About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale ML and personalization initiatives
Drive delivery of recommendation systems and personalization models used by listeners worldwide
Own program roadmaps, milestones, dependency maps, and risk plans
Orchestrate ML development workflows, including model training pipelines, experimentation, data infrastructure, and production deployment
Partner with engineering leaders on capacity planning, resourcing, and technical trade-off decisions
Drive alignment across ML engineering, data science, product, platform, and UX teams
Establish program metrics, reporting rhythms, and dashboards for leadership visibility
Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to leadership
Improve collaboration and processes across the ML lifecycle
Help bring machine learning and personalization work to life for Spotify's listeners

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in technical program management
Meaningful experience with ML, AI, data platforms, or similarly complex technical work
Track record of delivering multi-team technical programs from early planning through production launch
Understanding of ML development workflows, including model training, experimentation, feature engineering, data pipelines, and production inference
Ability to build relationships with engineering and product leaders in distributed, cross-functional organizations
Clear communication of technical work to engineers and executives
Ability to lead through influence rather than authority
Comfort with ambiguity and creating clarity across teams with different priorities and timelines
US Eastern timezone availability for collaboration
