About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide clients with the highest level of accounting support
Exhibit an extensive understanding of accounting practices
Direct accounting functions, including payroll, accounts receivable/collections, expense processing, taxes, and revenue recognition and reporting
Manage client communication and identify opportunities to improve clients’ bottom line
Direct internal accounting programs and procedures and maintain relationships with outside partners and vendors
Provide ongoing financial analysis to company leaders to support business decisions
Ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements
Collaborate with the Accounting Operations team on technical accounting challenges
Evaluate clients’ business models and plan for the future
Streamline processes and develop accounting and system technical skills
Broaden financial planning and analysis skills by partnering with Finance Managers and CFO team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Ability to oversee and review corporate accounting functions
Complex financial modeling
Solid understanding of accounting compliance requirements and experience implementing and managing accounting policies
Highly proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables, Data Tables, formulas, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, and XIRR
Process and detail-oriented
Desire to learn new technologies/methods
Eager to follow established practices and help improve them
Experience in a remote environment is a plus
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
