About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, enhance, support, maintain, configure, and deploy software products
Work on full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
Develop and integrate REST APIs and services
Configure development and runtime environments for application deployment and support
Diagnose and resolve failures, incidents, and performance, availability, and security issues
Monitor production applications and respond to incidents
Implement automated tests and apply TDD practices
Work with continuous integration, DevOps, and software delivery automation
Work with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Apply best practices in version control, static code analysis, software quality, and maintainability
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the technical analysis, implementation, and support of solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience developing full-stack systems
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for back-end application development
Experience with Angular for front-end development
Knowledge of REST API development and integration
Experience with Hibernate and Maven
Experience with Git and the IntelliJ IDEA development environment
Knowledge of IBM DB2
Experience with automated testing using JUnit and Cucumber
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of Sonar, DevOps, and Continuous Integration (CI) practices
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
Systems thinking and a focus on application quality, security, and performance
Ability to independently manage development and application support activities
Analytical skills, organization, and results orientation
Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business teams
