Key responsibilities & impact

Perform testing and validation of systems and applications, identifying unexpected behavior and potential failures
Reproduce bugs and conduct initial analyses to support the identification of their root causes
Troubleshoot applications by correlating symptoms with potential technical issues
Use tools such as Postman to perform queries and validations on REST APIs
Interpret JSON data structures and validate service responses
Perform basic database queries to check and validate information
Analyze system and application logs to identify errors and inconsistencies
Support investigations involving applications, integrations, and microservices architecture
Document incidents clearly, detailing the reproduction steps, expected result, and actual result
Collaborate with Development and QA teams by providing evidence and information to support issue resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Basic knowledge of programming logic
Basic knowledge of REST APIs and JSON
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries
Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Basic knowledge of infrastructure, cloud computing, and servers
Basic knowledge of microservices architecture
Familiarity with API inspection tools such as Postman
Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting system and application logs
Basic knowledge of software testing and the ability to reproduce bugs
Currently pursuing a higher education degree in Information Technology
Availability to work from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
