About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the functional reference for SAP PP
- Provide support and drive the enhancement of SAP processes
- Gather requirements from business areas
- Prepare functional specifications
- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and process enhancement projects
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents
- Perform functional debugging
- Analyze interfaces, IDocs, batch jobs, and logs
- Assess the impact of changes and design solutions
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience with SAP PP
- Experience providing functional support and implementing enhancements
- Experience working in medium- or large-sized industrial environments
- Experience gathering requirements
- Knowledge of preparing Functional Specifications (FS)
- Experience with testing, user acceptance testing, and process mapping
- Knowledge of debugging
- Knowledge of tables from other modules, especially MM and SD
- Knowledge of SAP PP, production orders, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, work centers, production capacity, master production scheduling, and production versions
- Knowledge of integration with the shop floor, ABAP code interpretation, interfaces and IDocs, batch jobs, logs, and troubleshooting
- Experience in the steel, mining, metallurgy, or heavy industry sectors is a plus
- Experience with optimization and digital transformation projects is a plus
